HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Amberfield Iron Press Group is a printer and publisher in Toledo serving local and national clients, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proofing. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
