HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Rivermark Orchard Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Richmond working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on route schedules. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
