HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Northwind Meridian Legal Group is a Phoenix practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on court deadlines. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
