HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Northwind Loom Auto Group is a Oakland company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on warranty claims. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with warranty claims. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
