HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Pine Construction and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on change orders. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
