HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Foxglove Fern Arts Center is an arts centre in San Diego with a full calendar of events. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on school partnerships. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with school partnerships. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
