HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Raleigh, NC)

Nova Ember Staffing is a Raleigh staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on retention. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with retention. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
