HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Providence, RI)

Harborlight Meridian Arts Center is an arts centre in Providence with a full calendar of events, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 175 people based in Providence. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on school partnerships. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with school partnerships. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
