HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Portland, OR)

Nova Umber Inspection Services Partners tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Portland. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on equipment calibration. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
