HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Portland, OR)

Rivermark Sparrow Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Portland with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on collection routes. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
