HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Pittsburgh, PA)

Summit Nest Community Partners is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for food distribution, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food distribution. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with food distribution. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
