HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Omaha, NE)

Bright Oak Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Omaha working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
