HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Fernwood Summit Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Oakland producing generic and specialty treatments, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on quality documentation. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with quality documentation. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
