HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Lumen Meridian Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Oakland plant. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of about 288 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer specifications. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
