HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Forge Inspection Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on equipment calibration. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
