HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Highbridge Ashton Facilities Group cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Oakland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on supply orders. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with supply orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
