HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Iron Press produces print and digital publications in Oakland. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer orders. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
