HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Fernwood Hollow Farms Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 173 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on packing house output. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
