HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Highbridge Stone Transit Planning is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for ridership counts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
