HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Ironwood Forge Farms is an agricultural business based around Oakland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on harvest schedules. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
