HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Ironwood Quill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Oakland design routes and schedules. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 190 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service alerts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
