HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Highbridge Harbor Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Oakland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of about 985 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ingredient orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
