HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Willow Community Partners and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client intake. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
