HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Union Inspection Services Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client sites. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
