HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (New Orleans, LA)

Fernwood Harbor Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around New Orleans, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on hardship programmes. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
