HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Minneapolis, MN)

Fernwood Summit Insurance is an insurance company in Minneapolis with claims and service teams. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
