HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Milwaukee, WI)

Westbrook Meadow Water Authority is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on water quality. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
