HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Milwaukee, WI)

Silverline Maple Press Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for proofing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 818 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proofing. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
