HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Knoxville, TN)

Nova Cross Civic Services supports public agencies in Knoxville with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on budget submissions. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
