HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Houston, TX)

Fernwood Junction Construction Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for safety records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 109 people based in Houston. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on safety records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
