HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Honolulu, HI)

Westbrook Junction Water Authority is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on capital projects. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
