HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Honolulu, HI)

Amberfield Quill Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Honolulu. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer tracking. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
