Westbrook Corner Water Authority is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing accounts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
