HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Hartford, CT)

Ironwood Quill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Hartford working with agencies and riders, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fare systems. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
