HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Hartford, CT)

Redstone Juniper Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Hartford. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service alerts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
