HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Hartford, CT)

Summit Nest Community Partners is a nonprofit in Hartford supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food distribution. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
