HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Grand Rapids, MI)

Redstone Sparrow Energy is an energy provider in Grand Rapids focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on hardship programmes. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
