HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Drift Hospitality and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food costs. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with food costs. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
