HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Iron Insurance and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
