HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Detroit, MI)

Harborlight Oak Civic Services works with county and city offices around Detroit, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of about 795 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on constituent requests. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
