HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Detroit, MI)

Cedar Kestrel Staffing places workers with employers around Detroit. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on onboarding. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with onboarding. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
