HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Wilder Insurance Partners and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on underwriting files. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
