HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Detroit, MI)

Bright Corner Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Detroit and nearby communities. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on capital projects. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
