HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Ember Financial and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of about 238 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on payment disputes. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
