HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Des Moines, IA)

Nova Umber Inspection Services Associates is an inspection company in Des Moines with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field inspections. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
