HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Des Moines, IA)

Highbridge Basin Civic Services Group supports public agencies in Des Moines with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
