HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Des Moines, IA)

Summit Thistle Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Des Moines. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on attendance records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
