HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Pine Property Management and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. We are flexible about schedules. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on maintenance requests. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance requests. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
