HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Columbus, OH)

Foxglove Lantern Press is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for proofing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proofing. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
