HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Chicago, IL)

Foxglove Wren Energy Group is an energy provider in Chicago focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service connections. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
